Culturelle® contains Lactobacillus GG, an extensively studied strain of friendly intestinal bacteria, naturally occurring in the digestive tract. Together with Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus GG is a subspecies of Lactobacillus casei. It was discovered and patented by researchers Drs. Gorbach and Goldin at Tufts University. To date, this is the best-studied and most extensively documented probiotic lactic acid bacteria strain in the world.* Dairy-free and gluten-free.

Suggested Use for Adults: As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule daily to strengthen your immune system while promoting digestive health, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.*
Infants and Children: As a dietary supplement, 1 capsule daily. Capsule may be opened and mixed into a cool drink or food. Do not add to warm or hot foods or beverages. Consult you medical professional for more information.

Other ingredients: Vegetarian capsule (Hypromellose), inulin (chicory root extract).

To maintain potency, store tightly closed and refrigerated. Short term heat exposure is acceptable.

**We guarantee that at the time of manufacture, we input a minimum of 30 Billion bacteria. Often, the actual number is considerably higher. However, because the potency of probiotics can change depending on storage conditions, the amount we guarantee at the end of the 18 months shelf life is 10 Billion bacteria. Refrigeration will keep a higher bacteria count than storing at room temperature, but be assured that even at room temperature, you receive at least 10 Billion. Importantly, the 10 Billion count is what has been used in the vast majority of the clinical trials, including human clinical trials, and is the quantity that has been scientifically validated for the medical benefits for Lactobacillus GG.*
