ARG Grapefruit Seed Extract Test!

Allergy Research Group grapefruit seed extract has been third-party tested and is free of triclosan, benzethonium chloride and benzalkonium chloride

August 21, 2018

For Immediate Release

In response to industry concerns over the possible presence of triclosan, benzethonium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride being found in grapefruit seed extract products, Allergy Research Group has performed high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of the grapefruit seed extract which we use in our products using a third-party testing service.

The grapefruit seed extract used in the Allergy Research Group products (ParaMicrocidin 125, ParaMicrocidin 250, and Tricycline) has been shown via this testing to be free of the potentially dangerous contaminants triclosan, benzethonium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride.

Additionally, we have reviewed the process used by our supplier of grapefruit seed extract to ensure that these substances, and other potentially harmful compounds, are not used as a part of the processing methods, or as preservatives.

We are taking the necessary steps to ensure that on an ongoing basis our grapefruit seed extract products will continue to be free from these, and other potential contaminants.

If you have any questions, please call our customer service team at 1-800-545-9960, extension 2, or contact Dan Mallar, our National Sales Director.

New Zen Products

Allergy Research Group Adds New Products to Their Zen Line

July 30, 2018

For Immediate Release

Since its release in 2001, our 200 mg of Zen product has become a top-seller for Allergy Research Group. In 2014, we released Liposomal Zen, with increased bioavailability. Now, the Zen name has been expanded to include multiple products with more targeted uses.

All Zen products contain gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and L-theanine, an amino acid derivative found naturally in green tea (Camellia sinensis)**. Together, they help support healthy mood and a feeling of being relaxed without sedation.*

Key Features of Each New Zen Product

Zen Adapt with Sensoril® enhances the actions of GABA and L-theanine with the addition of Sensoril®, a pure water extract of ashwagandha. This ancient Ayurvedic herb is well-known in Alternative and Functional Medicine. Sensoril® has been shown to help alleviate the physical, emotional, and mental effects of stress and tension.*

Zen Sleep with P5P and 5-HTP enhances the actions of GABA and L-theanine with the addition of vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal-5-phosphate) and L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), the precursor to serotonin and melatonin. This combination helps promote a more deeply relaxed state, and necessary cofactors for the body to produce melatonin, supporting normal, healthy sleep.*

Coming in September 2018

Zen Focus with Pycnogenol® enhances the actions of GABA and L-theanine with the addition of Pycnogenol®, the original French Maritime Pine Bark extract.*** This extract is found, among other benefits, to support micro-circulatory distribution of blood flow, necessary for optimal cognitive function and memory.*
